What is Tantra Yoga?


Tantra yoga has existed for thousands of years and is based on ancient tantric writings and yogis.

What is unique about this yoga?

In Tantra Yoga, we also practice different Asanas (postures), emphasizing strengthening the physical and energetic body. We pay attention to the body's position in each position, strengthening, stretching, and opening it. Still, we pay equal attention to the body and its energetic movement. In addition, breathing (pranayama) and meditation are also practiced.

These accents help us open and release all the bodies, move the energy, and open the body to strength and health.

Each Asana (position) has a chakra to which we connect and strengthen with practice.

In yoga tantra, as in any tantric practice, we work on energy transformation. It involves pulling energy from the bottom up to the higher chakras to reach an infinite connection to the spirit. Tantric practice is ultimately a spiritual practice.

Professional Training

I completed my Tantra Yoga teaching training over two years at the "Tantra Marga" school led by senior teacher Naama Hangebi.

The training includes an in-depth study of postures and breathing exercises, traditional yoga and tantra texts, anatomy studies, and additional enrichment courses in Tantra.
